KFC to sleep…

Need a little help falling asleep? Maybe the sound of chicken frying will help you drift off into dreamland. KFC has teamed up with Hatch, a wellness company that creates audio devices designed to help people improve their sleep, to create the Kentucky Fried Chicken Rain Sounds channel, offering listeners the sound of KFC's famous fried chicken sizzling in the fryer. The idea was born earlier this year when folks suggested that the sound of chicken frying was similar to the sound of falling rain. The soothing soundscape is available now on Hatch Restore 2 smart sleep devices. You can also doze off to the sound on the Hatch for Sleep YouTube channel and the Hatch for Sleep Spotify page.

Scott's Thoughts:

  • KFC sounds to go to sleep? Really? So how can I sleep with my stomach growling at the thought of those 11 herbs and spices in my mouth?!
  • I prefer the "Brown Noise" app to go to sleep. Green noise was too.... well... noisy.
  • Real rain on a tin roof. I remember that at my grandparents. Now that was sleep therapy!
