Halloween super-fan Maggie Martin, has transformed an old hearse into a unique camper van for her spooky road trips. Maggie bought the Vauxhall Carlton Eagle, affectionately named Hetty, for $1,000 on Friday the 13th last year and has since customized it with a bed, sofa, curtains and eerie decorations. "I love Halloween," she shares. "People stop to take pictures, and the neighbors think it's quirky—like the Addams family on the corner."
Maggie’s unconventional camper has become a local attraction, drawing smiles and photos from curious passersby. She explains, "Not many people bother you if you're in a hearse." Maggie sees Hetty as more than just a camper, hosting Halloween parties and even helping with visual learning for special needs groups. For Maggie, the hearse’s previous life doesn’t faze her: "Some people ask if it bothers me that dead bodies were in there, but it really doesn’t—it’s just fun and quirky."
