A new survey has found that more than 70% of American students between 12 and 18 admit to using AI chatbots to help them with their homework. They’re also doing this knowing full well that they might be breaking their school’s rules, and that AI isn’t exactly known for its ability to be factually accurate. The study was conducted by 11th-grade student Tiffany Zhu in collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University, in Pittsburgh, and the University of California, Santa Barbara, in which 306 students were surveyed.

- AI can sometimes get it wrong!
- What is the world coming to?
