If you want pineapple on your pizza at Lupa’s Pizza, in Norwich, England, it’ll cost you. Head chef Quin Jianoran firmly says “no” to pineapple, but he’ll still serve it to you if you’re willing to pay a hefty up-charge. More traditional pies, like the Napoli, meatball, or pepperoni, will cost around $17. If you dare to order the Hawaiian pizza, though, it’ll cost you $120. On the Lupa’s carry-out menu, it plainly states, “Yeah, for 100 pounds you can have it. Order the champagne, too! Go on, you monster!” Jianoran says it’s just his way of “taking a stance” against such an aberration.
