An Ohio woman caught shoplifting from a Walmart tried to run away from a security officer by throwing everything she had at him, including her wig.
The 51-year-old was trying to leave the store with $160 worth of Red Bull, and when the officer approached her, she led him on a foot chase through the store. As she tried to get away, she threw produce at him, articles of her own clothing, and even her wig -- none of which helped her get away. Eventually police arrived and helped to detain her.
At first, the woman gave police a fake name, but they eventually learned her true identity and discovered that she had five active warrants out for her arrest. She's charged with criminal trespassing, theft, and providing a false ID to police. (The Plain Dealer)
