Any guy with a smartphone has no doubt seen an ad or three pop up advertising an AI girlfriend app that’s the gateway to the artificial companion of their dreams. With so many people these days struggling through the dating world trying to find “the one,” it’s no wonder these apps have grown so much in popularity. How popular? A new survey of 2,000 men found that 80% believe “AI girlfriends could fully replace human companionship,” and 81% would even consider “marrying one if it were legal.”
