Anyone who’s ever gone to a beach has run into the threat of their food being swiped by a hungry seagull. Researchers with nothing better to do may have found a solution to this pesky problem. After experimenting with a few different kinds of food storage boxes, they discovered that seagulls were more likely to avoid a food box that had googly eyes taped to the top of it. Expert Warns Of Problems That Can Come With Putting Bacon In Air Fryer
You might want to reconsider things the next time you decide to put some tasty bacon into your air fryer. Foodie Taylor Tobin points out that bacon is a “fatty food,” and that fat can “drip down and cause smoke and splatter.” That smoke, in turn, can cause an unpleasant odor, and your bacon can end up cooking unevenly. Tobin also identifies hamburgers, cheese, fresh greens, and wet batters as foods that are iffy when it comes to air frying. There might also be a risk of fire. Just sayin'.

School Superintendent Accused Of Damaging Margaritaville Bar
In Missouri, the superintendent of Harrisonville Schools is being accused of damaging a bar while on a “district trip.” On March 18th, police were called to Margaritaville Lake Resort, Lake of the Ozarks, on a “property damage” complaint. When they arrived, staff reported allegedly finding Joseph Parkhurst “intoxicated, asleep, and in his underwear,” and said, “security had escorted him out of the bar.” Cops reported finding “multiple plastic cups, half-served pitchers, a broken margarita mix, several empty beer cans, a computer knocked over, broken beer taps, a landline phone broken off the wall, a plastic light cover damaged, and a roof tile out of place.” Parkhurst was arrested, and the school district has refused to comment on whether he is, or isn’t, on leave while they investigate the incident.
