Gleaning Collects Supplies for TN Tornado Victims

Staff from Gleaning For The World will be collecting supplies and financial donations at our local Sam’s Club, located on Ward’s Road in Lynchburg, from 10 am until 6 pm, each day through Saturday, March 7, 2020. Product donations and financial donations are needed, including cleaning supplies, baby items and personal hygiene products.

At least 40 buildings were destroyed in downtown Nashville, alone. More than 20 people are dead; countless others are injured. Hundreds are left homeless, and thousands are without electricity because of the four substations that were destroyed.

Gleaning is responding and preparing to send emergency supplies to be distributed among those most in need due to these devastating tornadoes. Drop off your donations (supplies or monetary) at Sam's Club on Wards Rd. in Lynchburg or checks can be mailed to PO Box 645 Concord, VA 24538. Please be sure to write “TN Tornadoes” in the memo line.
