The Patriotic Festival will be moving from the Virginia Beach Oceanfront to the Norfolk Waterfront in 2022.
The annual festival will be held on Memorial Day weekend, May 27-29, 2022 at Town Point Park and the Norfolk Scope Arena.
Ira Agricola, president of the Patriotic Festival, said the need for an indoor venue to avoid weather-related cancelations was the main reason for moving the festival after years at the Oceanfront.
The annual festival includes concert performances by national artists, plus military expos and displays.
