PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. (WSET) — It's clear why Virginia State Police and the Virginia Dept. of Transportation are urging drivers to stay off the roads.
Caught on camera out of Pittsylvania County, a crash illustrates just how slick the roads were Sunday.
On an otherwise quiet Sunday morning, Christopher van Norden's security cameras captured a crash.
Van Norden says he heard an extremely loud crunch and ran to his window.
An SUV flipped outside his home on Moorefield Bridge Drive.
Before he had a chance to react, van Norden says someone got out, popped in a taillight, and took off.
