MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Va. (WSET) — The northbound lanes of I-81 are closed in Montgomery County due to a crash that left a tractor trailer on its side.
The Montgomery Fire-EMS Department posted a photo of the accident on Facebook warning drivers of the incident and letting them know about the detour.
The crash, located at the 127 mile marker, is causing traffic to be rerouted off Interstate 81 onto Roanoke Road at Exit 118.
The crash could take up to the middle of the day to get cleared.
Expect delays northbound from Exit 114 through Exit 129 until mid day.
