Help us support 'High Fives For Suicide Prevention' this year at The Salem Fair!
Join New Country 107.9 YYD's Scott Stevens right out front at the Salem Fair starting at 6:00 pm on Friday, June 30 and give him a "high five" for suicide awareness and prevention.
Scott will be, once again, trying to set the world record for "Most High Fives" in a 24-hour period!
The current record is 14,607 set in Australia in 2012.
For 24 hours straight, Scott and volunteers from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention will be set up near the fair entrance providing information on their mission to stop suicide.
Scott's previous record high is 10,771 and he's working on a new strategy to get even MORE High Fives this year!
And don't worry, there will be plenty of hand sanitizer available!
The 2023 Salem Fair opens on Wed., June 28 and runs through Sun., July 9.
