This Giving Tuesday, Gleaning For The World, a nonprofit based in Concord, VA, is inviting the community to donate their time. Following the success of last year’s initiative, the organization is once again encouraging supporters to volunteer at their temperature-controlled Volunteer Center warehouse.

- Location: Gleaning For The World Volunteer Center
For 12 hours straight, Gleaning For The World will host a volunteer open house. Participants can choose from a variety of activities and decide how long they wish to volunteer—whether it’s 30 minutes, half a day, or the full 12 hours. Light refreshments will be available, but volunteers are welcome to bring their own meals.
Volunteers can come alone, with friends, or make new friends while contributing to a meaningful cause. Casual attire is recommended, and closed-toed shoes are required for safety.
In addition to volunteering, attendees can tour the facility to learn more about Gleaning For The World and its initiatives.
