Outlaw State of Kind, the charitable organization by Chris Stapleton and Morgane Stapleton, has donated $1 million to support relief efforts following the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, California.
Stapleton, one of the most-winning Country Music Association artists of all time, shared the post from Outlaw State of Kind’s Instagram account on Tuesday (January 28). The post listed American Red Cross, Direct Relief, GoFundMe Wildfire Relief Fund 2025, Project Hope and Save the Children among national organizations providing Los Angeles Wildfire relief. local organizations include the California Community Foundation, California Fire Foundation, Center for Disaster Philanthropy, Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, Mutual Aid L.A. Network, Pasadena Community Foundation and Ventura County Community Foundation. Outlaw State of Kind also noted ways to help with food (Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and World Central Kitchen), arts (MusiCares, Sweet Relief and We Are Moving The Needle), and animals (Best Friends Animal Society, Pasadena Humane Society and Wetlands and Wildlife Care Center). Outlaw State of Kind’s post added, “join us in supporting however you can.”
Stapleton is one of several artists to donate and share ways to help in the aftermath of the L.A. wildfires. Others include Kacey Musgraves, Reba McEntire, Maren Morris and more. Many, including Brad Paisley, who used to live in Pacific Palisades with wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley, paid tribute to the first responders who worked to battle the blazes. Paisley mourned the loss of a town that served as his former home and aimed to “acknowledge the beauty and the memories of what it was.”
The Stapletons founded Outlaw State of Kind in 2016. The charitable fund, administered by the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, “supports a variety of causes that are close to their [Chris and Morgane Stapleton’s] heart,” per the organization. See the Outlaw State of Kind post here:
