Brian Kelley took part in a viral social media trend to share that he’d recently gone on a hike with Tyler Hubbard.

Kelley, 40, shared a reel on Instagram that shows the Florida-born country artist emerging from a wooded path. He wrote, “after going on the hike with T-Hubb,” as KATO’s 2010 song, “Turn the Lights Off,” plays in the clip. The reel cuts to a viral glimpse of Jon Hamm in Your Friends & Neighbors, dancing in a nightclub, and the song transitions to Florida Georgia Line’s iconic 2012 anthem, “Cruise.” Kelley said in the caption that it was a “solid hike,” and Hubbard, 38, commented, “🏃🏃💪🏼.”

Kelley’s reel led to hundreds of reactions, including commenters wondering whether this means a Florida Georgia Line reunion is in the works (neither Kelley nor Hubbard have commented on an official musical reunion as of publication time). Other country artists also reacted to the reel, including Ashley Cooke, who said “okay 2026 is already better.” Travis Denning said “it’s time.” Jason Aldean commented with a series of eye emojis. ERNEST deemed Kelley’s trek with Hubbard “the hike heard round the world,” and HARDY asked, “do I need to start writing FGL songs again?”

Hubbard shared photos with Kelley at the 59th CMA Awards, which took place in November in Nashville, Tennessee. The Georgia-born country star wrote in his caption on Instagram that it was a “great night seeing friends and my country music family. Always a good time at the CMAs!” Those photos also garnered comments expressing eagerness for an FGL reunion.

The two singer-songwriters announced in February 2022 that they were “taking a break” as a duo to pursue solo projects. The Florida Georgia Line artists played their final show together about six months later, at the Minnesota State Fair. Hubbard recently opened up about “the real story behind Florida Georgia Line’s breakup,” when he appeared on an episode of Human School. Find the podcast episode on iHeartRadio here.
