Jordan Davis unveiled a sneak peek of an unreleased, sentimental ballad.
The Louisiana-born singer-songwriter introduced the “new tune,” titled “Go Out Loving You,” with an acoustic rendition that he shared on Instagram on Monday (January 5). Davis sings, in part: “I don’t know when my days will run out/ Or where they’ll lay me 6 feet down/ What color rose, what kind of stone, a Bible verse there, too/ All I know is, girl, I’ll go out loving you.”
Commenters applauded the new song; however, Davis has not announced a release date as of publication time on Tuesday (January 6).
Davis delivered his most recent studio album, Learn The Hard Way, in August 2025. The 17-track project includes “Bar None,” “Mess With Missing You” with Carly Pearce,” “I Ain’t Sayin’,” “Turn This Truck Around,” “Louisiana Stick” with Marcus King, and more. Davis, who welcomed Baby No. 4 with his wife shortly before the album’s debut, said he and his collaborators “had a blast writing and recording this record and I hope you feel the same way listening. Thanks for giving me the best job in the world.”
Davis is also known for career-spanning hits “Singles You Up,” “What My World Spins Around,” “Next Thing You Know,” “Buy Dirt,” “Take It From Me,” “Almost Maybes” and more. Watch him play “Go Out Loving You” here:
