Weather Alert Day for Monday with Strong Thunderstorms Expected

Monday will see a cold front coming through the Roanoke and Lynchburg areas bringing a line of very strong thunderstorms.

ABC 13 - WSET Meteorologist Will Stafford gives us the run down:

Monday is the day we'll really need to watch. 

That's when the cold front will come into the area bringing a line of very strong storms.

Gusty winds would be the main concern but there is also an elevated risk of some tornado warnings being issued as the front crosses the area.

Right now - the timing looks to be from about 6A-Noon as the worst of the weather,
