Dale Earnhardt Junior has lined up his post-retirement gig -- he'll be a NASCAR race analyst for NBC.
Dale Junior has announced that this season will be his last. He already has some broadcasting experience -- last year, he provided commentary on NBC for two races when he was sidelined due to a concussion.
The deal also gives Earnhardt opportunities to develop projects outside racing -- in movies, television and podcasts.

- FOX already has Jeff Gordon. They don't need Dale Junior as much.
- Wonder if the outside opportunities swayed Dale to NBC.
- Dale Junior has always been funny in those Nationwide ads. He should do well in the booth.
