Blake Shelton is used to having number-one hits, but last week he experienced a different kind of hit, when a truck drove right into one of his homes.
Last Thursday, a maintenance man who was doing work on some construction at Blake's lakeside home in Oklahoma, lost control of his truck and ended up crashing into the front of the home. Blake chatted about the incident Friday morning when he stopped by Live with Kelly and Ryan to chat about the release of his new album, Texoma Shore.
He said, "So, I’m talking about Texoma Shore, and I made the album at my lake house. There is a studio at my lake house in Oklahoma, and I just got a phone call. Somebody drove their truck through the front of my lake house, so if this album doesn’t hit, then that’s bad luck."
Thankfully, no one was hurt in the wreck.
- That's not the kind of "hit" Blake was hoping for.
- It doesn't look like there's too much damage to the home.
- How does one just drive a truck through the front of a house?
- Blake is a good sport. He didn't seem too upset.
