If Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani wind up getting hitched, don’t expect to see Blake’s good buddy Luke Bryan handling the officiating duties. In a recent interview with “Entertainment Tonight,” Luke offered to play officient should the pair decide to tie the knot, but Blake doesn’t seem to be too open to the idea.
“Luke's not even a legitimate country artist, much less like somebody that can marry people, you know what I'm saying,” Blake joked while doing interviews promoting “The Voice.”
Blake’s co-star Kelly Clarkson also chimed in about Luke and got in a jab at Blake in the process. “If you want [the wedding] to be real, maybe you should get, like, a real [officiant,]” Kelly added. “Because we thought about Blake doing my husband and I [but] I [wanted] it to be real.”
