Documentary filmmaker Michael Moore makes an outrageous claim in his new movie about Donald Trump -- the former Apprentice host decided to run for President to prove to NBC that he's more popular than Gwen Stefani.
In Fahrenheit 11/9, which debuts debuts today at the Toronto Film Festival, Moore says Trump learned while he was hosting The Apprentice that Stefani's salary as a judge on The Voice was higher than his. Moore suggests that Trump set out to prove to NBC that he was more popular than the singer and that's why he announced his candidacy. (Page Six)
Talk About It:
- This sounds so crazy, but it is Donald Trump so is it really hard to believe?
- Michael Moore doesn't provide any sources to back up his claim, so it's nothing more than his conspiracy theory.
- If it's true, Trump has clearly made his point.
