Pasta love … A survey found that Millennials are more likely to eat Italian food than any other generation. Why? Because it tastes good … and also looks good on social media. 75% of 22- to 35-year-olds said Italian food was their favorite type of cuisine, compared to just 42% of Baby Boomers. 63% of Millennials surveyed said they love Italian food because of how it tastes, and 10% say they like it because of how “Instagrammable” it is. What Italian food is the most Instagrammable? That would be pizza (41%), followed by bruschetta (20%) and lasagna (19%). (SWNS)
Speaking of food … Move over kale, there’s a new trendy green in town. An article inThe Atlantic, which used data from Google trends, found that searches for kale have gone way down since the super green’s peak of popularity in 2014.
