Get Over It
Police in Daytona Beach, Florida are looking for a daredevil driver who tried to turn his Hyundai SUV into the General Lee.
Surveillance cameras installed on the Main Street bridge captured the moment the Dukes of Hazzard wannabe crashed through a safety gate and then jumped the drawbridge as it was opening. Police say another safety gate was destroyed and so was the SUV's windshield. Police believe they know who the driver is. It's also not the first time someone has jumped the drawbridge. Last month, a motorcycle driver went full Evel Knievel and jumped the open drawbridge. More here: (WESH-TV)

- Florida has a lot of drawbridges and there have been many cases of drivers jumping them -- some unsuccessfully.
- Who hasn't been on a drawbridge and thought, "I bet I could make it?"
- This driver is going to be arrested and also billed for the damage to the safety gates.
- Either this driver was in a rush, or drawbridge jumping has become a sport in Florida.
