Childhood Toys
Over the past couple weeks, some really cool -- and really expensive -- new toys have hit the market.
The limited-edition Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection features 13 video games -- along with a bunch of fancy artwork, trinkets, trading cards and a book. Price? About $150.
And then, there’s the Lego Ultimate version of Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder. It’s got 1,890 pieces, including a lightsaber-waving Luke and C-3PO. And, it costs about $200.
Scott's Thoughts:
- Kids aren’t buying this stuff, of course. It’s grownups.
- No judgment ... If it makes you happy, buy that collector’s edition video game or that Lego set.
- Do you remember enjoying -- or being inspired by -- these toys as a little kid? I do.
