Woman Quits Her ‘Dream Job’ At Google To Make $125k As A Twerking Instructor
When Bami Kuteyi landed a job as a marketing executive with Google in 2015, she thought she’d work at her “dream job” for decades. Instead, she grew tired of corporate life and quit to start her own business, Twerk After Work, which is now making her $125k a year.
The 29-year-old started teaching classes while she was still at Google, but after 18 months of growing her business, the pandemic forced her to take it online when her studios were forced to close. She says she gets messages from fans saying she has inspired them to quit their own corporate careers. Source: New York Post
