WEIRD NEWS: Tater Agitators
Protesters who are steamed about the climate change crisis cooked up a way to show their displeasure -- by throwing mashed potatoes at a famed painting by famed artist Claude Monet [pr: moe-NAY].
The activists set upon the Barberini Museum just outside Berlin and set their sights on the painting Grainstacks, which once sold for $110 million. They lobbed the taters at a glass divider placed in front of the work, which was not damaged.
The group, called Last Generation, posted video of the act on their Twitter account, in which they said "We are in a climate catastrophe. And all you are afraid of is tomato soup or mashed potatoes on a painting." The tomato soup mention refers to a similar protest held at a British museum recently.

- Protesting is ok. Vandalizing is not. Lock these people up! Freaks.
