The police department in Oneida, New York issued a "warning" last week about “highly addictive substances” being circulated in the area by “strong, smart, fearless young women” who aim to get people hooked on what they’re pushing.
Police took to Facebook for the tongue-in-cheek post that says the street names of the addictive items include “Thin Mints,” “Samoas,” “Tag A Longs,” and “Lemon Ups.” They finished their post with a community-minded announcement, saying they’ve set up a “drop off location for these ‘Girl Scout Cookies’ at the police department so that officers can “dispose of them safely.”
