A Florida man arrested for burglarizing a home is likely going to feel very itchy for a while.
Police in Fort Myers responded to a call about a home burglary in progress. When they entered the house, they heard the sound of footsteps in the attic. Officers ordered the trespasser to come down from the attic, but he repeatedly refused. Officers didn't know if the man was armed, so they stayed out of the attic and instead used non-lethal gas to try to force him out.
When that didn't work, they decided to enter the attic with a K-9 unit and that's when they discovered the man hiding underneath a pile of insulation, with only his hands and head sticking out. He had his face in an air duct so that he could breathe. Police arrested 44-year-old Bruce Davis and charged him with burglary and resisting a police officer. (WOFL-TV)
Scott's Thoughts:
- He was probably feeling very warm in all that insulation.
- He's probably not very good at hide-and-seek.
- I'm itchy just thinking about it.
