When you’re getting married, you get to make the calls on a lot of details, like your dress and what your bridal party wears. A lot of brides also request their bridesmaids do their hair and makeup a specific way for the wedding, but there’s a limit to what you can expect them to do. And one woman is being called out as a bridezilla for something she asked of her bridesmaid.
The bride-to-be posted anonymously in a Facebook wedding planning group, looking for support on the issue, but she didn’t get it. She writes that during a meeting to go over wedding details, she noticed her bridesmaid “has quite a number of grey hairs.” After the meeting, she pulled the friend aside and “suggested” that she dye her hair, but the bridesmaid refused, saying salon appointments are too expensive and that she’s allergic to box dye.
“It’s really unsightly and I’m worried it’s going to take away from the beauty of the dress I chose for her,” the bride writes, adding that she thinks the grey hair is only going to get worse before the big day. She asks for tips on what to do, but instead of friendly advice, her post was met with outrage from many commenters.
- "OMG in 10 weeks her hair will be completely grey,” teases one person. “She’ll be all hunched over and her teeth will be falling out as she hobbles down the aisle. The wedding will be ruined."
- "I’ll never understand why getting married gives people the idea that it is ok to act this way," another writes.
- And a third shares, “When did weddings stop being about celebrating the love two people have, and become this whole 'ME ME ME' thing, it's f-ing exhausting and ridiculous.”

Scott's Thoughts:
- Don’t worry bride-to-be, your bridesmaid’s grey hairs won’t steal the spotlight on your special day!
- If I were the bridesmaid, I would take this as a sign that this friendship is not a good one. Bye Felicia.
- I have known someone this vein.
