Don’t love your body? Try going naked! A woman in the UK has spoken out about her victory over low self-esteem after she and her husband embarked on a nude cruise. Helen Berriman, 47, and her husband Simon, also 47, booked a two-week bare-bottom vacation together in the hopes of shedding some insecurities around their bodies. Helen notes the 2300-person ship approves of nudity everywhere, “apart from when docking in certain ports, and if you wanted to go into any of the formal dining rooms.”
How has this experience altered her life? “I used to equate nudity to sex and being objectified, but now my outlook has totally changed,” Helen revealed. The couple plans to continue “living and breathing naturism” with several nudist trips coming up, including some festivals and a nude resort.
