Woman Steals Firetruck, Claims To Be Firefighter. A Florida Woman Story.

Woman Steals Firetruck, Claims To Be Firefighter: A woman has been taken into custody in Florida after being accused of stealing a fire truck and claiming to be a volunteer firefighter. The volunteer fire chief Wellborn Volunteer Fire Department, said that Belinda Delores Waugh, 44, had spent the night at the station and was now missing…as was the truck. When she and the truck were eventually picked up at a nearby gas station, Waugh reportedly claimed she was a volunteer with the Fire Department. However, police say there is no record of this, and she was not authorized to operate the fire truck. Waugh declined to speak to authorities after being arrested and is still in custody at Suwannee County Jail.

Guy Arrested One Day After Leaving 9-Year Sentence For Cutting Off GPS Tracker: A man is back in custody after experiencing the sweet taste of freedom for just one day. Reports are now coming out about how Albert Lee Gardner, also referred to as "Joker”, was released from Hernando County Detention Center in Florida with a GPS ankle monitor on July 7th and was rearrested the next day. The 29-year-old who had spent 9 years and six months behind bars for battery on a victim under 12 years old, was found in the middle of an overdose by sheriff deputies after he cut off his court-mandated tracking device. On July 8, a probation and parole officer noticed the ankle monitor was at a 7-Eleven gas station for an unusual amount of time. When deputies arrived at the gas station looking for Gardner, they found the tracking device in a garbage can. Then a short time later, a call came in about an overdose less than a mile away. That’s when authorities realized it was Gardner. They administered Narcan to him, saving his life, and then booked him right back in the county jail after being cleared by medical staff.
