Inmate Months Away From Release Gets 40 More Years For Attempted Escape: An inmate who was just months away from getting out of prison is back in for another 40 years after breaking out of a Mississippi correctional facility and holding two people at gunpoint last year. This week, Shunekndrick Huffman, 21, pleaded guilty to two counts of kidnapping. Huffman was close to completing a seven-year sentence for aggravated assault and was expected to be released in December of 2022. However, the prisoner escaped last August, breaking into a nearby home and holding three people at gunpoint for hours. Authorities say Huffman then stole a car from one of the hostages, crashed it, fled on foot, and then was later found hiding in a trash can. He was apprehended two miles from the prison.

Realtor Popped For Raiding Client's Fridge In Between Showings: A real estate agent in Canada has been hit with a $15K fine after home surveillance footage caught him rifling through a client’s fridge and helping himself to gulps from the family’s milk container. Realtor Michele (Mike) Rose had been killing time between showings of Lyska Fullerton’s house last July when he started poking around the family’s fridge. What’s more, Fullerton claims the hidden camera also caught Rose breaking the arm of her couch when he sat on it. Cut to today…Rose has been fined approximately $15k, plus another nearly $2k in other expenses – both need to be paid in the next six months. Rose has also been fired by the Fullerton family and suspended “until further investigation” from his position at Royal LePage Kamloops Realty.
