Pilot Shares Best Plane Seats For Nervous Flyers

Lots of people get nervous on a flight, but Kyle Koukol, an airline pilot, says where you sit on the plane can make a big difference. He’s the founder of Dial A Pilot, which gives nervous passengers a chance to book a 15-minute call with a pilot who can calm their nerves. While he assures that the “whole airplane is very, very safe, he recommends sitting in the front of the plane or over the wing if you’re nervous flying. Koukol explains, “If the motion on the plane causes you any emotional distress, I always recommend sitting at a window seat and keeping your eyes on the horizon, especially during takeoff.”
