It's unusual to see a chicken fly, especially inside a convenience store, but that what got one Florida man arrested.
Cops in St. Petersburg arrested 32-year-old Daniel Palomino at a Wawa store after he allegedly got angry and threw spicy chicken at a worker. The man had complained that his Nashville fried chicken order wasn't cooked enough, so he tossed the saucy bird at the worker, striking the victim in the eye. Police say despite the worker getting spicy sauce in their eye, they did not suffer any bodily harm. Palomino was drunk and charged with misdemeanor battery.
Palomino has a long rap sheet including convictions for cocaine possession, theft and criminal mischief, but this was his first crime involving spicy chicken. (The Smoking Gun)
