The U.S. and China are fierce adversaries in a number of areas, and the two world powers are now grinding it out over coffee. Yes, coffee. Americans love their coffee and can't walk a single city block without finding a Starbucks, Dunkin' or Peet's. But according to new data, China – which is known to have a millennia-old love affair with tea – also happens to like a cup of joe ... so much so, that it now has more branded coffee shops than the U.S. or any other country on the planet. The U.S., which had held the title for many years, has been bumped down to number two.
Speaking of coffee... Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan's coffee company is suing a coffee company owned by Cole Hauser, one of the stars of the show, for trademark infringement, unfair competition and false advertising. According to USA Today, Sheridan's Bosque Ranch filed suit against Hauser's Free Rein Coffee Company, claiming Free Rein's brand mark is "strikingly similar" to Bosque Ranch's registered trademark.
