A Florida man wearing a crown of thorns and holding a piñata was arrested on Tuesday, and that alone wasn't even the reason why.
The Martin County Sheriff's Office says they received a 911 call from a 74-year-old woman saying she was being harassed by the man on her way to work. Ruth Bullard told police the man approached her with his bizarre headwear and a piñata, and screamed "horrible profanities" at her. She said she was "frightened to death."Â
Cops responded to the area and immediately identified the man as 37-year-old Gregory Zopff, who is known to be a public nuisance in the area. Zopff denied the woman's claims and told cops he was merely âsinging and dancing to his leprechaun song," whatever that means. He was placed under arrest and charged with disorderly conduct.
