A Pennsylvania man's attempt to set a house on fire was unsuccessful, but he did succeed in one thing -- having a getaway car which got away, albeit without him.
Police responded to a 911 call about a suspicious person wearing a mask outside a home in Lower Moreland Township. When officers arrived, they found the man trying to set the house on fire and that the front porch was in flames. The man tried to flee the scene in a getaway car that was waiting for him, but when the driver of the getaway car saw the police, he decided to get away and left his buddy behind.
After a brief chase on foot, police arrested the arsonist and firefighters put out the porch fire. The driver of the getaway car has not yet been captured. (WCAU-TV - Philadelphia)
