Cops in New Mexico combined some old west policing with modern day technology over the weekend when officers on horseback shared bodycam footage of them chasing down and arresting a shoplifter.
Albuquerque police say a man walked out of a Walgreens store with $230 worth of items he didn't pay for. Officers on horseback immediately responded and galloped after the thief until they stopped him in his tracks. The officer captured the wild pursuit on his bodycam. The thief, identified as 30-year-old Mark Chacon, was arrested and charged with possession of stolen goods, possession of drug paraphernalia, and evading police. Check out the video and post below.
