It must suck as a high school student to find out you’ve been banned from attending prom or walking a graduation because of an outstanding lunch debt. In Blue Springs, Missouri, fifth grader Daken Kramer learned that there was $3,500 owed to the school lunch program…so he did something about it. Kramer started a fundraiser to get everyone’s debt paid off, and he did that…and more. In all, Kramer paid off the debt of all his classmates, and $3,800 more…which was given to the high school in the same school district.
