The Dream Chaser spaceplane is small but mighty. It measures just 30 feet long – about a quarter of the size of the Space Shuttle – and is nearing the end of its testing phase. When it launches for the first time, it will carry about 8500 pounds of stuff to the International Space Station. Stay tuned because this thing is currently at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida – and could be sent into orbit sometime this month.
