The study found that for young adults, especially those who are single, having good friends is a major key to happiness. Researchers found that those who are happiest tend to have strong, satisfying friendships, while those who aren’t as happy often lack this connection. The study analyzed responses from single adults between the ages of 18 to 24 and found that friendship satisfaction was a big predictor of overall happiness.
