Traveler Stung By Scorpion At Boston Airport

Airports are filled with annoyances…long lines, impatient people, long walks, and huge crowds. What you don’t expect to find, however, are…scorpions. On Sunday, at Boston’s Logan Airport, an unidentified woman was stung by a scorpion while trying to retrieve her luggage. She was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment. Typically, scorpion stings “aren’t’ serious,” but then can be intensely painful, cause redness, and…in some instances…have more severe reactions. Authorities are currently investigating, but it’s still not clear how a scorpion ended up at the baggage claim in the airport.

Woman Goes Viral For Divisive “Airport Theory”

TikTok is now ablaze with people learning about what’s being called the “airport theory.” In short, this is a “hack” people are using to “streamline” their airport experience by putting their stress to the test by getting to the airport 15 minutes or so before their departure time. The goal, it seems, is to not waste so much time loitering in the airport, but instead breezing through security, hoofing it to the gate, and arriving just in time to board the plane. The concept is wonderful until you hit traffic, a TSA machine goes down, or you realize that Spring Break, Thanksgiving, or Christmas was probably not the best time to try this one out.
