We now know what was responsible for clogging eleven of twelve toilets on an Air India flight from Chicago to Delhi last week. Four-and-a-half hours into the flight, the plane had to turn around, and it’s not because of what you think. It turns out that passengers had been flushing items like plastic bags and even clothing, which ended up stopping up the works and ruining the flight experience for everyone on board. Don’t flush things that aren’t supposed to be flushed, people!

Original story:
Last week, and Air India flight out of Chicago had to make an emergency U-turn back to the Windy City for a pretty crappy reason. The flight, destined for Delhi, was interrupted when it was discovered that eleven of the plane’s twelve toilets had become clogged and were inoperable…which wasn’t good news for a flight that carrying more than 300 passengers. This happened four-and-a-half hours into what was supposed to be a fourteen-and-a-half-hour flight. It wasn’t revealed what meals were served on the plane, but they sure seemed to have been hearty. Either that or somebody should have avoided that Chili's in the airport while waiting for their flight.
