How many times have you found yourself in a gathering with people you don’t know very well and been subjected to the agony and discomfort of “small talk.” Forcing conversation when there’s nothing to say can make even three minutes feel like a painful eternity. - What’s the worst gift you’ve ever been given?
Those might seem fairly random, but they might lead to conversations that are more interesting than “what do you do for a living” and “what do you think about this weather”…and they’ll make you look like the interesting and intriguing one in the room.
