Did you get a pay bump in the last year? CEOs did. Newly released numbers show that median CEO pay packages in 2024 rose to $17.1 million, which is an increase of 9.7%. During the same period, the median employee pay was around $85,419, which was an increase of 1.7% over the course of the year. Topping the survey was Rick Smith, who is the CEO of Axon Enterprises, a company that specializes in stun guns. His pay package is valued at over $164 million, almost all of which is in “stock awards.”
