Some people celebrate their birthday with friends, cake, and a party. In Key West, Florida, Patrick Winslow celebrated his 57th trip around the sun with meth, and by stealing a sightseeing train…allegedly. Police say that Winslow worked at the Conch Tour Train Depot “years ago,” so he was familiar with how to run it. On the morning of July 4th, police say Winslow allegedly took over the train after leaving his Kia behind in the Depot parking lot with the engine still running. Reports say Winslow even picked up a couple of passengers during his tourist-train joy ride. Now, he’s facing charges of grand theft auto, burglary, and possession of drug paraphernalia, after cops found a meth pipe in his possession at the time of arrest.
