According to a new survey, home remodeling projects can seriously strain relationships – especially for couples who have been together five years or less. The survey found that 12% of newer couples actually considered separating during a renovation, with common arguments including budgets, furniture choices, and flooring materials. It’s not all doom and divorce, though. 59% of couples described renovating together as "collaborative" – and nearly all agreed the result was worth it.
