We don't know if this guy is a fan of Billy Corgan, but one Florida man definitely likes smashing pumpkins.
31-year-old Aaron Thompson was arrested a few days ago for destroying about $500 worth of pumpkins outside of a Tampa-area Target. According to police, he showed up at about 1:15 a.m. on October 21st and threw roughly 80 pumpkins to the ground.
It wasn't hard for cops to track Thompson down. Security called him back to the store a few days later and showed him surveillance video of the incident. Guards asked if he recognized the person in the footage, and he said, "That's me." He explained unapologetically that someone had made him angry and he took it out on the gourds.
Police were called and charged him with criminal mischief. (Smoking Gun)
