As far as homemaking maven Martha Stewart is concerned, there’s no room for debating what time dinner should be served on Thanksgiving. She says the feast should hit the table at 2 p.m. sharp so guests can eat early, catch the big game, and keep the drinks and dessert flowing later. Martha shared her ideal Turkey Day rhythm during a segment on “Today,” confidently laying out why waiting until evening just doesn’t cut it. Her own holiday traditions have ranged from swapping turkey for a fully vegetarian spread to skipping hosting altogether for family trips abroad. And of course, in classic Martha fashion, past years have included marathon baking sessions like whipping up 30 pies for her team.
