Australian Sherry Hackne has found a way to date using Microsoft PowerPoint, and it’s delivering results. It works by having a friend essentially vouch for you, their recommendations and descriptions of you are turned into a PowerPoint presentation. From there, the PowerPoint is shown to a willing audience of potential suitors who size up what they’re seeing on the video screen. Hackne says her events have resulted in multiple couples being formed, and it feels more genuine than what’s become the superficial and generic world of app-based dating.
